Job Summary
Spearhead end-to-end planning, execution, and control of the HSG-2 Import Rail Grinding Vehicle project, defining milestones and overseeing the full lifecycle from production to delivery. Act as the primary point of contact between the General Contractor, German Headquarters, and internal teams, convening tripartite meetings and translating technical specifications for production and engineering groups. Monitor manufacturing processes, schedules, and quality to ensure compliance with German standards and contractor requirements while tracking global shipment status. Proactively identify risks and lead cross-functional teams to resolve ad-hoc issues, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Requires minimum 5 years in rail transit engineering, proficiency in project management methodologies, and extensive travel for on-site support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the rail transit industry
- Solid background in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Gantt charts)
- Ability to independently develop plans, control schedules, manage risks, and execute contingency plans to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Exceptional interpersonal and coordination skills
- Ability to clearly convey technical needs, production status, and delivery requirements
- Ability to effectively resolve conflicts across departments, borders, and partner organizations
- Ability to rapidly comprehend technical parameters, production processes, and railway industry standards related to the HSG-2 Grinding Vehicle
- Ability to interface with technical teams to resolve deviations during production and delivery
- Excellent command of English as a working language (spoken & written)
- Willingness to travel extensively for extended periods to provide on-site support and technical assistance
