Job Summary
Oversee RECA paralegals and document management technicians to lead the call center operations for a high-profile DOJ civil matter. Provide initial training for new staff, guide employees on difficult calls, and monitor interactions with claimants while delivering daily updates on issues and system errors. Intervene on escalated calls directly and manage administrative duties including attendance monitoring and personnel support. Direct supervision of contractor staff and coordinate with DOJ representatives, case managers, and trial attorneys to ensure quality work meets strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years related work experience
- 2+ years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects
- at least one year of supervisory experience
- proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys
- excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously
- in-depth knowledge of litigation support
- excellent writing skills
- excellent oral communication skills
- ability to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing needs
- hands-on familiarity the Government's data processing environment where the work is performed, including PC-based and virtual environments
- expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems
- Experience writing processes, procedures and SOPs
- Paralegal experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a call center
- Paralegal Certificate
- Familiarity with eDiscovery tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required
