Job Summary
The Hospital A/R PFS Project Supervisor oversees daily project operations and staff, acting as an extension of the client’s business office. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring team members, coordinating interviewing and onboarding, reviewing monthly accounts, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and delivering on client revenue and operational goals. Requires leadership and relationship-building with client contacts, ability to train and develop staff, monitor productivity and performance, manage billing-related activities across pre-admissions to collections, prepare and review client invoices, and communicate trends to operations. Travel up to 10% is possible; relocation to San Antonio is considered. Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, HIPAA, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to compliance and accuracy in patient account data and reconciliations. Must possess a Bachelor’s or an AA with relevant experience and have significant people-management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or AA Degree with relevant experience
- minimum 3 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's, or 5 years with AA Degree
- experience in healthcare provider, insurance, professional business or outsourcing environment
- at least 2 years of people management experience
- ability to lead, train, and mentor staff
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- compliance with HIPAA and client policies
