Job Summary
Coordinate on-site restoration activities, organize crews, and manage resources to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Review scopes, adjust plans on the fly, and align every detail with company and IICRC standards while maintaining clear communication with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients. Lead by example through team coaching, reinforcing safe work practices, and ensuring accurate documentation. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and perform physical tasks including material handling, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces. Help communities rebuild and families recover after unexpected events.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in construction, restoration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of reconstruction practices for water, wind, mold, fire, or vandalism damage
- Experience reading and interpreting building plans and scopes of work
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate crews and subcontractors on multiple active sites
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, mobile applications, and knowledge of Xactimate
- Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
- Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of building codes and electrical, or plumbing, or mechanical and related codes preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; post secondary education or related training an asset
