Job Summary
Oversee, manage, and mentor general foremen and subcontractors while leading injury-free safety programs and coordinating site logistics. Create and update construction schedules, monitor logic relationships, and assist in scheduling shop work, deliveries, and equipment selections. Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project turnover milestones and foster foreman development within a unified project team. Report to the Division Construction Manager, influencing stakeholders across operations, design, and subcontractors. Requires five years of MEP experience, proficiency in Microsoft Project, and knowledge of lean construction principles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a focus on MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
- Knowledge of system designs such as HVAC, plumbing, etc.
- Excellent listening skills and have strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex trade related issues
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Email
- Must be knowledgeable about lean construction and pull planning/tack planning
