Job Summary
Oversee, manage, and mentor General Foremen and subcontractors while leading field labor efforts and initiatives for construction projects. Create construction schedules, monitor logic relationships, and coordinate shop work, site deliveries, and equipment selections. Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project turnover milestones and lead the Injury-Free Safety Program in conjunction with the Safety Manager. Foster the development of foremen into future General Foremen and Superintendents while working hand in hand with Project Management to build a unified team. Report to the Division Construction Manager and influence stakeholders across operations, design, and subcontractor levels.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a focus on MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
- Knowledge of system designs such as HVAC, plumbing, etc.
- Excellent listening skills and have strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex trade related issues
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Email
- Must be knowledgeable about lean construction and pull planning/tack planning
