Job Summary
Project Superintendent oversees all phases of commercial construction on-site, coordinating subcontractors and field operations to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence while meeting plans and contract documents. Acts as primary on-site liaison with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors; develops and manages the project schedule, enforces the site safety program per OSHA requirements, and oversees billing and general conditions to maintain project budgets. Collaborates with the Estimating/Preconstruction Team on scheduling, logistics, safety planning, constructability, and project requirements; maintains a clean, organized job site and ensures work complies with specifications. Requires strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise in construction management, with experience reading drawings and managing MEP installations; proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Procore; able to work nights and weekends and in occupied spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field
- OSHA training required
- 7+ years of commercial construction experience
- read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- experience with interior renovations, commercial upfits, and MEP system installation
- Procore proficiency
- strong forecasting, budgeting, and project planning skills
- ability to work nights and weekends
- occupancy in occupied spaces experience
