Project Superintendent

Job Summary
Oversee and supervise all field crew members (foreman, carpenters, laborers) and project operations; develop a project site logistics plan with the project manager to determine method and sequencing of construction; plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities; maintain strong relationships with owner, subcontractors, and vendors; promote a safe work environment per company safety standards and OSHA regulations; read plans and apply DOT specifications; assist Project Engineers with Shop Drawing and Submittal processes; coordinate with supervisory/engineering personnel and inspectors to resolve construction problems and improve methods; schedule subcontractors per the work schedule, manage pump trucks and material deliveries; assist Estimating in bidding opportunities and Preconstruction services.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' related experience with large scale commercial, healthcare, design build or multi family construction project operations
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and the project schedule
- Strong leadership and management skills
- OSHA 30-hour Card, preferred
