Job Summary
Project Superintendent responsible for supervising earthwork and underground-utility project activities in Ft. Meade, MD and Chambersburg, PA. Manages project personnel to meet schedule and budget, coordinates with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, develops and maintains safety/work planning documentation, and prepares daily reports on working conditions and production. | Ensures adherence to OSHA and Harnden Safety policies, orders and schedules materials, coordinates manpower and equipment, and supports problem-solving on site.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED OR 3 years of related experience and/or training
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment (especially excavators, bulldozers); GPS experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Problem solving and priority setting
- Composure and conflict resolution
- Basic internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills
- Ability to meet physical requirements; PPE as needed
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
- OSHA or other relevant safety certificates (preferred)
- Experience in heavy civil construction (preferred)
