Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and supervise field and administrative operations for data center construction projects, establishing productivity goals and measuring performance. Conduct weekly coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors, prepare daily field status reports, and develop the project management plan including scope, procurement, time, financial, quality, and safety plans. Manage labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure work executes according to contract terms in a profitable manner while preventing and resolving claims. Provide leadership to project teams, maintain current CPM schedules using LEAN processes, and oversee punch lists for system commissioning. Requires four-year engineering degree, thorough construction knowledge, and safety-sensitive duties including wearing personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety
- Construction project and supervision experience in similar types of facilities
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
