Project Superintendent - Construction

Job Summary
Lead onsite execution of electronic security projects, coordinating technicians, subcontractors, equipment, and materials while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. Serve as the primary field liaison between the customer, general contractor, inspectors, and the project team to drive timely corrective actions and manage RFIs, daily reports, and punch lists. Oversee site logistics, workforce planning, and installation sequencing, then coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance to support project closeout and turnover. Travel extensively between multiple remote project sites, including up to 90% of the time, to monitor progress and enforce OSHA standards across all activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current driver's license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience within construction, security integration, or mission-critical environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to guide the accurate installation and integration of electronic security systems
- Advanced knowledge of working with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint)
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, as well as manage delivery timeframes and meeting deadlines
- Adheres to safety requirements and guidelines, taking appropriate action when needed, ensuring equipment and materials are used properly
- Ability and willingness to travel to remote locations up to 90%, as the position is primarily field-based and requires extensive travel to active construction sites, including remote locations
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions, frequent site walking and inspections, and the ability to temporarily relocate or reside in project-provided housing for extended periods as needed
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended hours, weekends, and alternate shifts, to support project schedules, critical milestones, and customer requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to manage a project scope of $1 Million or larger
- Experience with government, federal, military, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field
- Experience working within secure environments, including SCIF or regulated facilities
- Manufacturer certifications, pertaining to access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire detection systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
- Certifications in OSHA 10/30 and CRP/First Aid Certification
