Job Summary
Develop and manage daily project schedules, subcontractor coordination, and supply deliveries to ensure milestones are met. Monitor site conditions continuously for safety compliance, OSHA guidelines, and adherence to plans and specifications. Conduct weekly safety meetings, review contract documents, and utilize project management software to track RFIs, submittals, and daily logs. Maintain accurate timesheets, approve work orders, and communicate promptly with the Owner and Project Manager to resolve issues. Be on-site during all vendor and subcontractor work hours, except for brief personal errands.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a superintendent on commercial construction projects
- 30 hours OSHA Certification
- CPR Certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software
- Knowledge in all trades involved in construction projects
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving capabilities
- Ethical behavior and integrity used in all situations
- Ability to multitask
- Team orientated
- Bachelor of Science in Construction or related degree
- Certified Professional Constructor
- Certified Construction Manager
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Professional Constructor and/or Certified Construction Manager preferred
