Job Summary
Project Superintendent responsible for directing project personnel, coordinating manpower and equipment to keep projects on schedule and within budget, and ensuring safety and documentation on earthwork and underground utility projects. Key duties include developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors; preparing safety and work-planning documentation; submitting daily production and work-condition reports; coordinating with the General Superintendent on manpower and equipment needs; ordering and scheduling project materials for delivery to site; and maintaining OSHA-compliant site safety practices across Chambersburg, PA and Ft. Meade, MD-area projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of related experience and/or training
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers); GPS experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Problem solving and priority setting
- Composure and conflict resolution
- Basic internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills
- Ability to fit test & utilize PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements
