Job Summary
Direct the on-site workflow consistent with the project schedule, safety, and quality standards while serving as the primary leader for the construction project. Administer the safety program to all subcontractors, ensuring accidents are reported and investigated, and maintain daily logs of activities and site conditions. Manage the punch list and closeout process through owner/architect acceptance, collaborate with the project manager on schedule formulation and installation methods, and ensure complete daily documentation of work orders. Maintain quality standards for all project aspects, communicate priorities to site staff and subcontractors, and develop community relationships to enhance business opportunities. Requires a four-year degree in construction or engineering, five years of commercial construction experience, and OSHA 30 certification.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree with a concentration in construction or engineering
- 5+ years experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must demonstrate a strong ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong focus on audience appropriate business writing and verbal skills
Desired Qualifications
- A four-year degree with a concentration in construction or engineering is strongly preferred
- In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable
- Project lead experience preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry
