Project Superintendent

Job Summary
Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely completion while coordinating labor, materials, and equipment. Perform daily site walks to monitor activities, open and secure the jobsite, and maintain a written daily log. Execute quality control duties, review ASI's, RFIs, and material submittals, and issue non-compliance notices for safety, health, and environmental standards. Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings, resolve conflicts in construction progress, and manage punch lists for completion. Perform Superintendent duties across multiple job sites simultaneously, ensuring work proceeds on schedule and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of progressive construction experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Organized and analytical decision-making capabilities
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks, manage deadlines and have excellent follow-up skills
- Must be able to manage both internal and external customers
- Must be able to provide direction to and resolve problems among 30+ subcontractors, direct employees and vendors
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to physically lift up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must meet productivity standards
