Job Summary
Project Specialist responsible for coordinating cross-functional engagements, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are met. Works with Project/Program Managers to ensure logistical clarity, timely deliverables, and effective communication across internal teams and external partners. Requires detail orientation, comfort in regulated environments, and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously; duties include tracking performance against plans (scope, timelines, budgets), developing communication and reporting deliverables, liaising with vendors, maintaining detailed project plans and schedules, monitoring risks and changes, coordinating internal teams with client stakeholders, organizing status updates, coordinating meetings/workshops, contributing to lessons learned, and participating in client/internal project reviews. Preferred experience in MedTech or regulated product development, familiarity with tools like SmartSheet or Microsoft Project, and strong knowledge of timeline management. Hybrid work in Providence, RI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
- 1–3 years of project coordination, consulting, a regulated industry, or relevant work experience.
- Strong project management skills and understanding of related processes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work under timelines.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with structured documentation
- Client-service mindset with professional, proactive approach
- Occasional travel may be required
- Hybrid work environment out of Providence, RI
