Job Summary
Lead cross-department projects for Rakuten Mobile shop business, driving key measures and operational reforms from planning to execution. Manage schedules, quality, and costs while coordinating with on-site staff and relevant departments. Identify root causes, develop response policies, and coordinate stakeholders to deliver tangible business impact. Create presentations and data analyses (PowerPoint, Excel) to report progress. Communicate effectively in English and Japanese to support diverse tasks within a 5-person team. This role involves on-site project leadership within the Rakuten Mobile shops, focusing on retail initiatives, operational improvements, and system implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Practical experience in project promotion, business planning, operational improvement, sales planning, or business development at an operating company
- Experience in proactively driving initiatives or projects while engaging multiple departments and on-site staff
- Experience in successfully completing projects while managing schedules, issues, and progress
- Experience in handling the entire process of issue resolution, from analyzing root causes and considering response policies to coordinating with stakeholders and executing solutions
- Practical experience in creating presentations (PowerPoint), organizing data (Excel), and reporting
- TOEIC score of 600 or higher
- Ability to conduct meetings and communicate in English
