Job Summary
Coordinate medium utility projects by maintaining logs, creating filing systems, and auditing files for compliance. Monitor engineering design efforts, track expediting of designs and permits, and resolve cross-disciplinary issues to support project schedules. Assist with meetings by drafting agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items while verifying deliverables. Monitor budgets, cost tracking, and labor hours, validating and reconciling invoices and payments. Ensure projects enter construction on schedule through timely documentation and communication with contractors and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related; equivalent experience with customer approval
- 3-5+ years' experience providing direct project coordination support and/or scheduling support to Program or Project Managers on electrical, civil, and/or gas Programs/Projects
- Scheduling, Project Management, or other related certifications, training, or demonstrated experience
- Adept at MS Project, Primavera (P6), Smartsheet, Procore, and/or equivalent project management planning tools
- Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with customers, construction contractors, land/survey, field construction advisors, internal support team, and others to ensure all parties are up to date on the project schedule
- Ability to provide the highest levels of customer service to our project owners/customers
- Strong attention to detail; ensuring data accuracy, timely data updates, and communicating necessary updates to required parties
- Experience with managing/scheduling multiple projects at once, while simultaneously handling additional responsibilities
- Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day
