Project Scheduling Manager (Site Based/Travel Required)

Job Summary
Develop and maintain project schedules, including proposal, pre-construction, and baseline schedules, while leading discussions with internal teams and subcontractors to implement resource-loaded schedules per Standard Operating Procedures. Collect status information, review physical site conditions, and analyze performance data to forecast future trends, identify critical path variances, and develop "what if" scenarios for optimization. Supervise field schedulers, conduct peer reviews to ensure compliance, and document adverse conditions for claims avoidance. Travel extensively across North America for client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings, with up to 85% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient knowledge of construction logistics, techniques, materials, equipment, crew sizing, and sequencing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with multiple construction market types (healthcare, automotive, civil, industrial, sports facilities, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6
