Job Summary
Project Scheduling Engineer responsible for updating, analyzing and reporting progress in cost-loaded schedules; conduct monthly review meetings with client and provide periodic updates; write comprehensive narrative reports to define changes and submissions to the client; apply understanding of project specifications to scheduling; attend meetings with the construction team to recommend corrective actions for timely completion; create micro-level project updates to aid construction teams; assist estimation with schedule development for new projects; generate dashboards and project status reports for management; must be able to travel to project sites as required; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and proficiency with Primavera P6; CPM scheduling knowledge and experience documenting changes, cost loading, and resource leveling; and familiarity with dashboards and forecast reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field
- 2-3 years of experience using Primavera P6; USACE experience is a plus
- Understanding of scheduling methods and techniques (CPM)
- Ability to track project progress and update schedules
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate
