Job Summary
Develop and maintain integrated master project schedules in Primavera P6 for major electric utility transmission and substation capital projects. Build schedules covering engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities while performing critical path analysis to identify risks and recovery opportunities. Prepare monthly schedule update reports and 4-week look-ahead schedules, providing weekly updates during active construction and integrating contractor cost-loaded schedules. Coordinate baseline reviews with stakeholders, track procurement milestones, material deliveries, and outage requirements, and support earned value management reporting. Requires 7+ years of project scheduling experience and advanced proficiency with Primavera Enterprise V 7.0. Full-time role in the Mid-Atlantic area with periodic travel to client offices and project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of project scheduling experience
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6
- Primavera Enterprise V 7.0
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience with major electric utility transmission and substation capital projects
- May require some travel to work site locations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Utility transmission and substation project experience
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Experience with outage scheduling and project controls
- PMP, PSP, or similar certification preferred
