Job Summary
Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with best practices and contractual requirements using Critical Data Method (CDM) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Track, analyze, and report project information to enable team management, including weekly reports and efficient distribution of updates. Coordinate cross-functional departments to identify issues, monitor action items, and develop contingency plans with project management. Ensure scheduling follows company policy and contractual obligations while performing what-if-analysis and reviewing progress forecasts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree
- two (2) to five (5) years of project relates scheduling experience
- equivalent combination of related education and experience
- advanced proficiency in Primavera (P6)
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook Calendar, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- proficiency in coordinating and management of basic office systems
- Knowledge of mining and/or bulk material handling industries
- high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
- Continual attention to detail in composing communications, data entry of project information, proofing of data, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
- Operating modern office equipment
