Job Summary
Develop, update, and maintain the project schedule for a major Flood Risk Control project in San Juan, Puerto Rico, using Primavera P6 or equivalent while ensuring compliance with USACE specifications. Track and update progress based on field input, perform schedule analysis including critical path identification and trend evaluation, and identify potential delays recommending mitigation actions. Prepare schedule updates, reports, and narratives for internal teams and the USACE, and support delay analysis and extension of time requests. Coordinate closely with Construction, Engineering, and Project Controls teams to integrate field data and participate in coordination meetings with project leadership and client representatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in project scheduling for infrastructure or heavy civil construction projects
- Strong experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software
- Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Progress tracking and schedule reporting
- Experience working on USACE or federally funded projects (preferred)
- Familiarity with heavy civil works
- Understanding of contract schedule requirements and specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- High level of English (written and spoken) required
