Job Summary
Oversee research and development projects spanning multiple technical disciplines, guiding initiatives from conception through delivery across distributed cross-functional teams. Establish and refine project management processes while working hands-on with state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions. Manage Integrated Master Schedules, technical reports, risk documentation, and lessons learned within a government contracting environment. Adapt Agile/Scrum methodologies and utilize tools like GitLab, MS Project, and Confluence to drive mission success. This role supports critical national security missions at CACI, introducing modern practices to diverse technical domains.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance, or Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant project planning/management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM certification
- 3+ years of demonstrated Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) experience
- Experience managing technical or engineering projects
- Experience managing projects in a government contracting environment
- Understanding of government requirements management
- Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to introduce and adapt Agile/Scrum practices
- Experience with project management tools such as GitLab, Microsoft Planner, or MS Project
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work effectively with highly technical and cross-functional teams
- Experience developing and managing: Technical reports and documentation
- Experience developing and managing: Client presentations and briefings
- Experience developing and managing: Status reports and project tracking
- Experience developing and managing: Risk management documentation
- Experience developing and managing: Requirements traceability and management
- Experience developing and managing: Lessons learned and after-action reports
- Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering or technical degree
- Experience contributing to resource planning and ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes or federal compliance frameworks
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple facilities
- Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, or similar collaboration platforms
- Change management or organizational transformation experience
