Job Summary
Project Scheduler Associate Mastering scope-of-work planning and schedule integrity on complex projects. Responsibilities include defining activities, durations, sequences and logic; developing and maintaining integrated, cost-loaded, resource-loaded schedules; leading schedule-review meetings with stakeholders; tracking progress, generating status reports, and alerting teams to risks that could delay milestones. Requires familiarity with Primavera/SmartSheet, strong communication, and ability to work under supervision while growing toward advanced scheduling practices. On-site role in Roanoke, VA with potential overtime and occasional travel or temporary relocation. Certifications are not required at the associate level, though certification may be pursued for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years’ qualified experience OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience in design, operations, planning, project management, cost tracking analysis, forecasting, and budgets
- Knowledge of Primavera, SmartSheet or similar scheduling systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with stakeholders and manage schedule risks
- Certification not required at this level (but preferred for progression)
- Availability to work overtime; some travel; occasional relocation may be required
