Job Summary
Project Safety Manager – Energy role responsible for developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture through a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; generates weekly Total Case Incident Reports and submits to project leadership; leads incident and injury investigations with support from Production leadership; assists in weekly toolbox safety meetings; monitors CEI/Subcontractor compliance with applicable standards; requires OSHA 30 certification, NFPA/NESC/ASTM/ANSI knowledge, strong communication, and ability to influence safety behaviors; on-site at project locations with occasional office work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) preferred or similar Construction Management, Business, or Engineering
- OSHA 30 Construction required
- CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred), along with other safety certifications desired
- Must be willing to obtain a BCSP CHST certification or higher within 12 months
- Three (3) to five (5) years of construction safety experience (electrical safety experience preferred)
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Bilingual proficiency preferred
