Project Safety Manager - Data Center

Job Summary
Develop and maintain the Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead incident and injury investigations, generate weekly Total Case Incident Reports, and assist during weekly toolbox safety meetings. Monitor and audit Cupertino Electric, Inc. and subcontractor compliance against applicable standards and project safety requirements. Serve as a co-facilitator for safety trainings and testing while supporting the Project Leadership Team in executing weekly safety meetings. This role requires on-site presence at project locations or the office with variable travel, and candidates must hold an OSHA 30 Construction certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or similar Construction Management, Business, or Engineering
- OSHA 30 Construction certification
- CPR/FA Certified (Trainer)
- Three (3) to five (5) years of construction safety experience
- Electrical safety experience
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to drive throughout the work site (via a buggy, car, truck, etc.)
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in confined space
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) preferred
- Similar Construction Management, Business, or Engineering degree
- BCSP CHST certification or higher (to be obtained within 12 months)
- CPR/FA Certified (Trainer) preferred
- Other safety certifications
- Bilingual proficiency
