Project Risk Controls Specialist

Job Summary
Support the implementation of project risk management processes and facilitate risk identification workshops with stakeholders. Maintain accurate project risk registers, monitor risks and opportunities, and develop tracking strategies for mitigation action plans. Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and metrics for project and management teams while collaborating with cost and schedule controls to integrate risk data into forecasting. Provide guidance on risk management best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of risk frameworks. This role supports a major water infrastructure project strengthening South Australia's water security within the KBR Adelaide team.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or a related discipline
- Experience applying risk management principles within a project delivery environment
- Sound understanding of project controls disciplines, including risk, cost and schedule management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate risk information effectively
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Experience using risk management and project controls systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex project environment
- Full Australian work rights
- Currently reside or willing to self-relocate to Adelaide
