Job Summary
Perform general maintenance repairs and services for vacant apartments and renovation projects, including light framing, carpentry, painting, flooring installation, and fixture replacements. Inspect completed projects for quality control and remedy issues to ensure make-ready conditions. Travel around SE Minnesota and Minneapolis/St. Paul areas to support assigned portfolios. Work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for outside business hours to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) to two (2) years of maintenance and repair experience
- Skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with carpentry
- Skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with painting
- Skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with plastering
- Skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with heating
- Skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with cooling
- Skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with minor electrical tasks
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training
- One year of maintenance and/or service experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with light carpentry
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with plumbing
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with flooring installation
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with drywall/taping
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with painting
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with electrical
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with HAVC
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with general installations or repairs
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to follow directions
