Job Summary
The Project Reliability Engineer focuses on maximizing equipment uptime and throughput through troubleshooting, maintenance strategy development, and project management for capital projects. This role involves analyzing equipment failure data, conducting root cause analysis, and managing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and significant industry experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from ABET/EAC accredited University
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3-7+ years in Industrial Environment, Engineering & Maintenance Focus
- Able to facilitate and complete root cause analysis (8-D, 5 why) and implement countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in leading various types of projects involving major equipment outages and the installation of new equipment and processes
- Strong computer skills, AutoCAD, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience in Metal/Materials Manufacturing, Hydraulic Presses, Plating, Roll-forming, Stamping, Furnace Annealing, and Plating
