Project Quotations & Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Prepare accurate lighting quotations for distributors and project opportunities, then proactively follow up to secure orders and close sales. Manage multiple projects simultaneously from quotation through order completion while processing customer orders and coordinating with manufacturers for timely delivery. Respond to inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and lead times; review project specifications to assist with product selection and value-engineered alternatives. Maintain accurate customer records and opportunities within the CRM system, coordinate project documentation and submittals, and build relationships with customers, manufacturers, and the outside sales team.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in inside sales, quotations, customer service, project coordination, or the electrical/lighting industry is considered a strong asset.
- Experience reading construction drawings or project specifications is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Experience using CRM software and ERP/order entry systems.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Knowledge of commercial lighting products or the electrical industry is an asset but not required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with electrical distributors, contractors, or consulting engineers is considered an advantage.
