Job Summary
Manage specialized federal government manufacturing projects and product delivery from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer requirements, operational constraints, budgets, and schedules. Lead bid and proposal development, cost estimates, and detailed project schedules while balancing scope, resources, and timelines. Perform or oversee site surveys, product installations, and customer visits to company properties in NY and PA, contributing expertise to other company projects. Collaborate with purchasing and logistics personnel to ensure materials are ordered and received, and manage project risks with mitigation plans. Engage customers to clarify requirements and use data to evaluate project performance. Manage product documentation, instructions, and sales content while developing new products and enhancing existing ones based on short-term and long-term needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years' experience performing project management role on complex projects
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS)
- Must be able to pass federal contract OCONUS deployment requirements published by the US Government from time to time
- Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check
- Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and motor vehicle record review
- Must possess a valid driver's license compliant with REAL ID requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Advanced organizing and attention to detail skills, with an ability to work multiple projects and customer engagements simultaneously
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and financial reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing or constructing SCIFs, shielded enclosures, and other federal mission critical facilities preferred but not required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Experience with Lean concepts and applying them in a manufacturing environment preferred
