Job Summary
Collaborate with functional areas to populate sourcing events, defining structure, supplier pools, selection criteria, and outcome metrics. Drive continuous development of the Procurement function toward best practices while participating in cross-functional activities with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Programs, Finance, Legal, and Manufacturing. Lead supplier risk assessments, risk management, and disaster recovery planning to support corporate-aligned objectives and the total company strategic vision. Requires a university degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment. This In-Direct Procurement role offers high visibility and growth potential working with key stakeholders at the highest levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
