Job Summary
Bechtel Bechtel Bechtel project procurement leadership: defines and develops procurement scope for combined cycle power projects, prepares procurement plans, terms, schedules, and budgets; coordinates input to proposals; manages purchase orders and supplier engagement; directs execution of PO activity; supports supply chain assignment scheduling and closeout; collaborates with Engineering and Construction and presents to project and management teams. This part-time telework role requires at least three days in-person per week at the assigned office or project locations (Houston, TX or Reston, VA) with a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves interfacing with project teams, managing procurement presentations, and ensuring alignment with prime contracts and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have project procurement management experience on an EPC project, preferably including power generation.
- Experience in project planning and operations, including both office and jobsite locations.
- Working knowledge of Engineering, Construction, and Quality procedures.
- Experience in managing others, including defining tasks, making work assignments, and evaluating performance.
- Knowledge of Corporate and global business unit policies and Procurement procedures and guidelines.
