Job Summary
Project Procurement Lead responsible for planning and managing procurement activities for subsea projects from tender support through execution and close-out. Collaborates with Project Managers, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Operations and Supply Chain to align procurement with project scope, schedule, budget and client requirements. Develops procurement plans, forecasts, leads sourcing and subcontracting, follows up with suppliers/subcontractors, and manages procurement risks. Contributes to category management activities such as supplier strategy, frame agreements, market intelligence, demand visibility, and cost-driver analysis to enable better sourcing decisions. Combines operational delivery with strategic commercial judgement to drive project success.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant university degree within Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Law, Finance or similar (minimum 5–10 years of relevant procurement experience)
- Experience in subsea, offshore, marine, renewables or oil and gas environments
- Experience with procurement planning, tender support, supplier management, subcontracting and category management
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to balance operational delivery with commercial judgment
- Location flexibility for Haugesund, Bergen, or Aberdeen
