Job Summary
Manage small, straightforward projects through the full lifecycle from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely task completion, accurate documentation, and clear stakeholder communication. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets while overseeing deliverables to stay within scope and quality standards. Coordinate activities across teams, lead meetings, and prepare status reports to track progress against contractual obligations. Identify and resolve issues proactively, manage risks, and assist in financial tracking and vendor compliance. Operate under guidance and supervision to contribute to engineering in moderately complex environments.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive, shows initiative and has a high sense of urgency
- Proven ability to identify and resolve project-related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using project management software and tools
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project management or a related field
- Experience managing projects of moderate complexity and scope
- Experience leading project teams and coordinating project activities across different departments
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration)
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Relevant coursework in Project Management and or experience can substitute a Project Management Degree
