Project Planning Manager (m/f/d)

Job Summary

Maintain and update schedule data in the approved planning system, perform routine updates, and prepare standard planning extracts for internal use. Consolidate schedule inputs from internal disciplines, highlight data gaps, and produce look-ahead views for coordination meetings. Collect progress information, support planning KPIs and dashboards, and evaluate schedule impacts from scope changes or delays. Assist in preparing cash flow, cost-to-complete, and estimate at completion updates, ensuring earned progress aligns with earned value. Support schedule risk analysis, mitigation strategies, and change management documentation for variation orders and claims.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related technical field
  • Significant experience in industrial project delivery, including planning/scheduling, progress measurement, and exposure to cost control and change management
  • Expertise in Oracle Primavera P6 (resource loading, cost loading, baseline management, critical path analysis, advanced logic structuring)
  • Comprehensive understanding of WBS / CBS, project coding systems, performance measurement frameworks, and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Solid knowledge of schedule risk and change management, with the ability to support schedule delay analysis and impact assessments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI / Power Platform for analytics, dashboards, and schedule-performance visualization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal, coordination, and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement of project controls practices and digitalization of planning workflows

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in Electrification, HVDC, Substations, Grid Integration, or Oil and Gas projects
  • PMI-SP Scheduling Professional or PMP Project Management Professional
  • AACE PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional)
  • German language skills
