Job Summary
Lead the planning, design, and development of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects from early concept to completion. Oversee conceptual, schematic, and detailed design stages while coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with strategies, budgets, and timelines. Conduct feasibility studies, prepare cost estimates, and secure regulatory approvals by liaising with authorities. Manage project teams, mentor staff, and integrate sustainable design principles to optimize layouts and buildability. Review design proposals for compliance, drive value-engineering options, and lead post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned. Master's degree in Architecture with 8–10 years of experience required; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp essential.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in architecture, project planning, or related fields
- At least 3 years in a managerial or team-lead role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with residential / commercial / mixed-use development projects
- Proficient in architectural design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or SketchUp
- Familiarity with project management tools
- Good understanding of construction methods, building services coordination, authority submission processes, building codes, and sustainability/green building principles
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams
- Confidence in handling discussions with clients, consultants, authorities, and contractors
- Ability to manage differing views, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment towards project goals
- Strong analytical skills to assess planning options, development feasibility, and design solutions
- Structured and proactive in anticipating issues, troubleshooting design and coordination challenges, and making balanced recommendations
