Project Planner (Private Land Development)

Job Summary
Act as primary liaison with clients and agencies through clear communication and representation. Conduct due diligence investigations by reviewing agency codes, preparing site plans, and reviewing technical documents. Prepare and process land use applications, including submittal materials and public hearings. Coordinate the acquisition of special documents such as land surveys and environmental reports. Process and approve construction permit applications while tracking deliverables using standard forms. Prepare and administer contracts as necessary. This role supports Core States Group's mission to improve everyday life across diverse markets including retail, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working in land development or related field
- College degree or technical certification(s) in land use planning, real estate, environmental consulting, engineering, construction, or related field
- Experience with due diligence, site planning, land use entitlements, environmental review, construction permitting, etc.
- Experience working with multiple disciplines including civil engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, land surveying, traffic engineering, and environmental consulting
- Ability to prioritize a diverse workload, resolve complex issues, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to communicate well with clients and team members, strong technical writing skills, and public speaking proficiency
- This can be a hybrid position based out of the following Core States Group offices: Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ; King of Prussia, PA; Philadelphia, PA; West Chester, PA; Frisco, TX; or Remote Idaho. We are also open to remote employees in the same areas.
