Job Summary
Develop schedule estimates for construction works by defining the Basis of Estimate, validating against benchmark data and BIM, and ensuring alignment with Cost and Risk Management teams. Manage key interfaces including procurement, consents, and dependent projects while supporting the QSRA process with the Risk team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure buy-in on project schedules. Requires 5+ years of planning experience in construction, proficiency in Primavera P6, and a hybrid London schedule with occasional site travel.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years planning experience working on a variety of construction and infrastructure projects
- Proficient in Primavera P6
- Knowledge and experience in elements of construction (e.g. Civils, M&E, Utilities, etc)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience working on major construction and infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication skills, including English language and visual presentations (e.g. PowerPoint), with the ability to analyse and present information clearly and persuasively
- Full right to work in the UK
- Working from home and 3 days in London - Euston
- Occasional travel to project sites outside of London
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience working with BIM, parametric estimating and 4D planning
- Qualified to degree level, would be advantageous as would having formal project management qualifications such as APM or PRINCE2
- Knowledge of procurement processes and forms of contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
- Membership of a professional body, APM, ICE, CIOB
