Job Summary
Conduct logical, end-to-end project planning for construction initiatives by translating complex plans into detailed schedules using MS Project. Implement Lean principles on site through planning sessions with subcontractors to optimize workflows and eliminate bottlenecks. Transform planning data into visual dashboards for stakeholders and collaborate with Site Managers to ensure daily schedule adherence. Monitor project progress, identify deviations early, and propose corrective scenarios to meet deadlines while reporting resource planning to management. Participate in coordination meetings to capture decisions and update coordinated actions for all parties involved.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of both English and French
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline)
- Accurate, resilient under pressure, and have a structured, planning-oriented mindset
- Excellent knowledge of MS Project
- Confident in challenging others and take the lead during coordination meetings to build consensus within the project team
- Believe in the value of Lean Management and enjoy working in an efficient, continuous improvement environment
- Analytical, an excellent communicator, and encourage others to critically assess and improve their planning
