Job Summary
Project Planner for an Energy from Waste project in Cambridgeshire. Develop and maintain detailed schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, integrating subcontractor and supplier plans, monitoring progress against baselines, and providing regular updates and performance reports for senior management and clients. Performs critical path analysis, assesses time impacts of variations, supports change management, and contributes planning input at project review meetings. Requires Primavera P6 proficiency, working knowledge of MS Project, and experience within EPC/NEC contract frameworks; degree or HNC/HND inEngineering or related discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 (essential)
- Working knowledge of MS Project
- Experience in Energy from Waste, power generation, or major industrial construction sectors
- Experience managing schedules under EPC or NEC contract frameworks
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret complex engineering and construction information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
