Project Planner - Equipment Installation

Job Summary
Develop and manage the Shift S+1 Installation Plan using Primavera P6, collaborating with Construction Management, Site Supervision, Quality, and Engineering teams. Lead Shift S+1 Validation Meetings and daily Kick-Off Meetings while conducting site walkdowns to monitor progress and resolve constraints affecting productivity. Monitor daily performance against planned activities, track delays and lost time, and produce monthly construction progress reports. Support the development of the 16 Week Look Ahead schedule and create contingency plans to minimize site disruptions. Work alongside Quantity Surveying teams to document external disruptions and support commercial assessments. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and strong Primavera P6 skills. This role is part of a major nuclear new build programme where you will drive construction productivity through effective planning and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Project Planning, Installation Planning, Construction Coordination, or Site Production Planning
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience supporting Mechanical and/or Electrical installation activities on major construction projects
- Demonstrable experience working within large-scale infrastructure, energy, industrial, defence, or nuclear projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site execution, and short-term work planning
- Ability to work effectively with construction, engineering, quality, and project teams to drive productivity and resolve issues
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
- This role may require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on nuclear new build projects
- Familiarity with 16 Week Look Ahead planning (16WLA)
- Experience within nuclear, energy, or other highly regulated environments
- Experience supporting construction reporting and performance analysis
