Job Summary

Coordinate with the PCCF office, divisional offices, NGOs, and government departments to streamline workflows and facilitate information flow between field offices and state leadership. Support data logging, record maintenance, and documentation for forestry projects, while tracking ongoing schemes and maintaining status dashboards. Prepare reports, presentations, and briefs for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with reporting formats and timelines. Assist in compiling data related to forest management and community projects, and manage meeting coordination, minutes, and follow-up actions. Provide ad-hoc administrative and technical support as required within the semi-bureaucratic environment of the Nagpur Forest Department.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, or related fields
  • 3–6 years of experience working with government departments, public institutions, or large development projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • English required
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Experience in government coordination, project management, or policy support
  • Ability to work with senior officials in a structured, confidential, and professional manner
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a semi-bureaucratic environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Marathi and Hindi strongly preferred
  • GIS skills (QGIS/ArcGIS/Google Earth Pro)
