Job Summary
Project Officer role in Melbourne CBD (hybrid) supporting a nationally funded project to develop culturally safe resources for supervisors in psychiatry training. Responsibilities include planning, delivering and evaluating project outcomes; conducting research and data analysis to inform activities; building stakeholder relationships; supporting committees and preparing agendas and minutes; producing briefings, reports and presentations; monitoring progress and budgets; and contributing to a collaborative, values-led team. Requires relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project coordination, administration, education, healthcare or research, strong organisational and communication skills, stakeholder engagement experience, MS Office/database proficiency, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. Desirable: experience in mental health, education, membership or not-for-profit sectors. Salary range AUD 73,000–91,300 plus superannuation. Hybrid model with 2 days in office and 3 days remote; 37.5-hour week, monthly day off, and generous leave provisions.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project coordination, administration, education, healthcare or research
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with stakeholders in multidisciplinary environments
- Confidence using MS Office and database systems
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
