Job Summary
Join our multi-disciplinary team as a Project Mechanical Engineer IV, where you will oversee complex HVAC system designs, guide less experienced staff, and ensure compliance with specifications. Key responsibilities include preparing Revit/BIM modeling, specifying mechanical equipment, and interfacing with clients and the design team. Required skills include a strong understanding of mechanical discipline with the ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, and experience with engineering design software. A current PE license and 8 years of related experience are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience required
- Current PE in the United States required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a critical thinker
- Must be highly analytical
- Must have the ability to engage effectively with clients
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work
- Able to effectively handle multiple projects
Desired Qualifications
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes
- Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus)
