Job Summary

Collaborate with product design, production plant, and tooling teams to design consumer products for high-volume manufacturability using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly principles. Execute assembly line design and process development to meet labor and quality goals, supporting new products from prototype builds through transfer to long-term facilities. Collect and analyze process quality data to drive improvements that enhance throughput and reliability while developing standard work procedures and optimizing tooling specifications. This role requires on-site presence five days per week with up to 20% travel for inter-office collaboration. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with a 3.00 GPA and 0-3 years of related experience. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
  • 0-3 years' experience in a related field
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future
  • Willingness to travel up to 10 - 20% of the time for inter-office collaboration
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
