Job Summary
Project Manager at ZE Power Engineering to lead project schedules, budgets, and administration across electric utility-driven projects. Responsibilities include managing schedules, progress updates, project control support, coordination of design and project administration, preparation of proposals and budgets, organizing team meetings, developing process flow and optimization, coordinating activities among clients, contractors and suppliers, and ensuring projects progress on time and within budget. Requires a university degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of project management experience within utilities/telecommunications, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. A vehicle is required; PMP certification or equivalent is a nice-to-have. Office location in Richmond, BC, Canada; role appears on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
- Experience working in utility and telecommunication industry for medium to large size organizations
- A university degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, Contract Administration, Business Administration, or similar) is desirable
- Must have access to a vehicle
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in project proposals and budgeting
- Experience coordinating project activities among clients, contractors, suppliers, associates and team members
- PMP certification or equivalent is a nice-to-have
