Job Summary
Oversee structural projects from inception to completion by performing daily inspections, issuing photographic records, and maintaining written logs of activities. Coordinate vendors and subcontractors on site, mediate construction conflicts, and ensure all parties comply with safety norms and prescribed procedures. Prepare meeting minutes, distribute reports, and present findings to the direct line manager for review and approval. Monitor project costs, maintain accounting records, and issue weekly progress reports while reviewing financial assumptions with user project teams. Deliver close-out documentation to the hotel including manuals and warranties, and prepare all documents for the bid process and subcontractor proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Over six years of progressive project management experience in the hospitality renovation sector
- Proficiency in blueprints and software related- blue beam, cad. Microsoft office
- Diligent adherence to deadlines and financial parameters
- Exceptional written and verbal communication aptitude
- Skilled in delivering compelling presentations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Project management level equal to outside 3rd party consultancy including fair bids and documented communication
- Must be able to meet deadlines and scope of work
