Job Summary
Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager/Senior Project Manager for industrial and heavy commercial projects in the Auburn Hills, MI area. Responsible for managing project scheduling, project buyout, estimating, document control, and management of self-perform teams and subcontractors. Delivery methods may include Self-Perform, General Contracting, or Construction Management. Travel may be required. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, 8-10 years of relevant experience with a general contracting/construction management organization, and prior WWTP experience. The role emphasizes coordinating with clients, project engineers, safety personnel, trade subcontractors, and designers/engineers to ensure project success, managing budgets and change orders, submittals, and closeout documentation, and maintaining strong client relationships. Additional preferred knowledge includes familiarity with Primavera or Microsoft Project, ISO procedures, and various construction-management skills and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience with a General Contracting/Construction Management organization
- Previous WWTP (Water Wastewater Treatment Plant) experience is required
